Ann's Engagement Party
A few weeks ago I helped to host my best friend Ann's Engagement Party. She wanted a fiesta theme to her party so I made a fiesta-ish cake and some Mexican chocolate dipped strawberries and marshmallows.

Susan's Wedding Shower Cupcakes, Mini Cupcakes, and Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Susan reached out to me to do the desserts for her niece's wedding shower. Since her niece majored in religion and world studies in college, Susan wanted something unique that had a bohemian feel. I decided to do a henna design while incorporating things like flowers, doves, hearts, and rings into the pattern since it was a wedding shower.
Before packing the cupcakes up, I gave them a quick spray of edible gold tinting which added some shine.
Susan also wanted 50 chocolate dipped strawberries..
And 150 mini cupcakes...
I decorated some with rose icing designs and topped the others with gum paste hearts.
I really enjoyed putting together this order. I loved using all of the different colors and piping the henna designs.

Ashley and Billy's Wedding Cupcake Taste Test
My sister in-law is getting married this September and I am so excited to be making 300 cupcakes for their wedding reception! They are going with a beach theme and teal as their color. Below are cupcakes I made for the taste test.
Flavors:
Chocolate with coconut butter cream topped with toasted coconut

I love tarts. They are beautiful just topped with fruit and are lighter and more refreshing then heavier desserts like cake or cookies. Here are some tarts I've done in the past for friends and family (not clients).
